Sometimes the overwhelming feelings of our past come to overwhelm us and the enemy tries to use the thoughts and feelings as a seed for his evil purposes and cause us to handle those things the way the world does. This looks different for everyone. For some it's in addiction; to drugs, sex, pornography, food, or gossip to name a few. for others it serves as a catalyst that sparks anxiety, depression or a manic bipolar or even a schizophrenic episode. For others it may spark overworking or others to hide causing loss of job. For some it leads to destruction of relationships, poor self esteem and developed insecurities. By planting these seeds the enemy wants us to do everything against what the word of God says.
That's the enemy.
GOD has made EVERYTHING beautiful for its own time. For our own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV
The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
Exodus 14:14
May the Lord cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
Psalms 115:14
Trauma "a deeply distressing or disturbing experience." This tries to come and stay connected to us and keep us from accepting our healing. God doesn't intend to leave us in the pits of the enemy's plans to keep us buried under traumatic experiences in our past and it's remanent. There are a couple of different ways we can walk through the pain of the trauma with God to help heal our inner children calling out for help. One of those defenses is by speaking to the child that is within us. Trauma holds that child in a chokehold pattern of destruction and stagnates us in our response to certain situations. God wants to walk with us and protect us along the way as long as we partner with Him through faith and obedience.
Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
Psalms 116: 7-9
God is calling you to stand with Him and walk with Him in the land of the living. Commit your inner child to Him. Allow her or him to step into peace and safety with Him. You cannot do this by yourself, you need God to walk you through it in order for your inner child to be set free so you can mature in Him to go after what God has for you in this life God gifted you with!
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
1 Corinthians 13: 11-12
Friend your peace will come when you diligently seek an encounter with God and allow the child within you to take His hand to allow you to mature to the you He intended and created you to be all along. Don't let the enemy continue to have a chokehold on the little you. Look in the mirror and see the little you and Jesus walking hand in hand as He walks you to the you who can fully know Christ and His unconditional love for you. The Time Is Now. Walk into perfect fellowship with God and allow Him to heal you.
I am praying for you! God Bless!
